Elephant Clock

Replica of an Elephant Clock, an invention by the medieval Muslim scholar al-Jazari (1136-1206), consisting of a water-powered clock in the form of an elephant. The various elements of the clock are in the housing on top of the elephant and were designed to move and make a sound each half hour. It is a feature of the Indian Court in Ibn Battuta Mall.
