Gambela National Regional State

The Gambela or Gambella Peoples’ Region, in the westernmost area of Ethiopia is a multi-ethnic region of almost 29,800 km². Its capital is Gambela. Its flag displays four horizontal stripes of red, white, green and black, although variants with the colours reversed have also been reported. A black 5-pointed star is on the white stripe.
