Benishangul-Gumuz National Regional State

The Benishangul-Gumuz Region, located in the north-western part of Ethiopia, has an area of almost 51,000 km² and is named after two local ethnic groups. The capital is Assosa, close to the Sudanese border. The flag is a horizontal tricolour of black, gold and green with a red triangle at the hoist.
