OzOutback, the Australian Outback, is one of the last Frontiers of the modern world: a vast land, often harsh and unforgiving, but with great beauty and variety.
Enjoy these photos of the bush, its natural wonders, wildlife and towns. We especially pay tribute to the First Australians: the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, their Culture and Ceremonies.
We love to share the Outback, our Home, with you....
....But, because most of Australia's 20 million inhabitants don't live in the outback
- Australia is one of the most urbanised countries on earth - we couldn't completely ignore the cities
and landscapes of the south east of course.
However, as all photographs are mine, the emphasis is on the places I spent most of my time - and where I have taken pictures. You may therefore find your favourite places under- represented; my apologies.....
....And as I have lived and travelled for 35 years in this country, some places depicted
may have changed since I last was there. This then is a very personal view of Australia and its people.
