A parade of Schutterijen in Limburg

A “General”

A “General”, a honorary title, in the parade of the Schutterij “Koningin Wilhelmina” from the village of Nieuwenhagen, 6 kilometres north east of Heerlen; he marches proudly in a parade of 60 “Schutterijen”, clubs of “marksmen”, who come together once a year to celebrate their traditions in the town of Meerssen, near Maastricht.
