Harlingen, Friesland's port city

Zuiderhaven

The Zuiderhaven (Southern harbour) in Harlingen, with the large Neogothic Roman Catholic Sint Michaelskerk; the church building was started on 4 June 1880 and is dedicated to St. Michael, Harlingen's patron saint. During the Second World War it was heavily damaged, but fully restored in 1948.
