Tobbesteken drenching

A large tub of water is emptied over a participant in “Tobbesteken”, in which you run downhill on a little cart, aiming a long pole at a ring, fastened to a board attached to a tub of water pivoted over the track. Miss the ring and hit the board, this is what happens. Good fun in Hoorn, a village on Terschelling, the largest of the Wadden Islands off the Frisian coast.
