Pearl statue

A 19th-century statue, made from a pearl; it came from India and was a gift to Abdülaziz, the 32nd Sultan of the Ottoman Empire who reigned from1861 to 1876. It is displayed in the museum of Topkapı Sarayı, the palace that in the 15th century served as the principal residence and administrative headquarters of the Ottoman sultans.
