Üç Kümbetler (Three tombs)

Üç Kümbetler (Three tombs), three mausoleums 100 metres south of the Çifte Minareli Medrese in Erzurum. The two smaller 12-sided ones in the foreground probably date from the 14th century, while the largest one, on an octagonal base, is thought to be the tomb of Emir Saltuk, who established Saltuk Turk rule in Erzurum in the late 11th century.
