Mahlatshwa Lukhele, a learner “sangoma” or diviner during a ceremony where she communicates with “emaNdzawe” (ancestors that died in battle, long ago in Mozambique) at her training place in Bethany, near Matsapha. She wears a red cloth, symbolising the blood of the “emaNdzawe”.
