An iNtfwasa graduation Ceremony in 1973

Senior “tangoma” are leading initiates to the river to the sound of drums and rattles, playing the rhythm of the “emaNdzawe” (or Ndau, a tribe in Mozambique that had been killed by the Swazi in the 19th century) for the rituals in which they will be immersed in water.
