In Baruun Zuu

In Baruun Zuu, the westernmost of the three temples at Erdene Zuu that were preserved, is a statue of Sakyamuni, the historical Buddha flanked by Kasyapa or Dipamkara, the Past Buddha (left) and Maidar or Maitreya, the Future Buddha. The temple, built at the request of Avtai Khaan, his son Ereehei Mergen's queen Suntaihu and Holoch Darhan noyon's mother, is dedicated to the adult Buddha.
