Vajradhara Buddha

A statue of Vajradhara, the ultimate primordial Buddha, or Adi Buddha, according to the Gelug and Kagyu schools of Tibetan Buddhism at Erdene Zuu Monastery. Peaceful in appearance, blue in colour (painted with gold as a special offering), he holds the two hands folded across the heart in the mudra of non-duality.
