The Ard Ayuush square of Khovd with the statue of Aldanjavyn Ayuush (1859-1939), a local revolutionary hero who agitated at the ruling Manchus to lower taxation. In the background the statue of the ruler of the Züüngar (Dzungar) Mongols, Galdan Boshigt (1644-1697), and the Aimgiin Zakhirgaa building.
