Gjakova, in western Kosovo

Main doors, Hadum mosque

The main doors of the late 16th century Xhamia e Hadumit, built in 1592-3; the Hadum mosque stands in the heart of the old town of Gjakova. Badly damaged by Serb soldiers in 1999, it has been beautifully restored.
