Vila Crespi, now a stylish luxury hotel and restaurant, built in 1879 by Cristoforo Benigno Crespi (1833-1920), a successful Italian cotton merchant as his small castle in authentic middle eastern style, complete with a minaret. It is a famous landmark, just to the east of the town of Orta San Giulio on lake Orta.
