Piazza d'Oro

Piazza d'Oro, Golden Court, at the northern edge of the Hadrian's Villa, is a vast building with a rectangular open court filled with flower-beds and water basins. The Piazza was used as a banqueting area because of its luxury, with its peristyle gardens, adorned with fountains and statues.
