Paro Taktsang (Tiger's Nest)

Paro Taktsang, or Taktsang Palphug Monastery, is on a precarious cliff about 900 metres above the Paro Valley at an altitude of 3,120 metres. Known as Tiger’s Nest, it was built in 1692.
