Wall painting Rinpung Dzong (Paro Dzong)

A wall painting of a Mongolian with a tiger on a chain in Rinpung Dzong (Paro Dzong) is auspicious. The Mongolian Warrior, the Fierce Tiger, and the Iron Chains represent the three divine protectors in Tibetan Buddhism: the benevolent Avalokiteshvara Bodhisattva, the wise Manjushri Bodhisattva, and the powerful Vajrapani Bodhisattva.
