Iron Knob mine slag heaps

View to the slag heaps of the iron ore mine in Iron Knob, the first commercial iron ore mine in Australia, first exploited in 1880, but quarrying ended in 1998. However, the Iron Monarch mine was reopened in 2013 and it, with the Iron Duke mine, again produced iron ore.
