Paronella Park

Paronella Park, a Spanish-style castle in the rainforest, built in the 1930s by a Catalan immigrant, Jose Paronella at Mena Creek to the south of Innisfail. It has its own hydro-electric station. Now weathered and covered in moss, it is a popular tourist destination.
