New South Wales - The West
The Old Mill on Sheridan Lane, the first flour mill built in Gundagai, around 1849. It was the only major building left in the flood area after the 1852 flood. It was converted in 1917 to a freezing works and during the 1930s the main activity here was freezing rabbits for export. Later it was a wool, hide and skin shop. In the background is the old Railway Bridge, built in 1903.
