Rusconi's Marble Masterpiece

The Marble Masterpiece, a miniature cathedral created by Frank Rusconi who started work on it in 1910, finishing in 1938. It consists of 20,948 pieces of Australian marble, each and every piece hand cut and polished. It is displayed in the Gundagai Visitor Information Centre. A portrait of the master craftsman, who died in 1964 at the age of 90, is on the wall behind it.
