Aboriginal Ceremonies Central Australia - Ngajakula
Wearing an elaborate headdress, built up on his head and decorated with “wamurlu” a vegetable down partly coloured with red ochre and glued on the body, this man dances with a “kurdiji”, wooden shield painted with the “Kurrakurra” dreaming design relevant to his clan and the song cycle followed during a “Ngajakula” ceremony in Lajamanu while women dance around him.
