Jungarrayi with shield

A Jungarrayi man, wearing an elaborate headdress and decorated, dances with a “kurdiji”, wooden shield painted with the dreaming design relevant to his clan and the song cycle that is followed during a “Ngajakula” ceremony in Lajamanu, a Warlpiri Aboriginal community. Women dance behind him.
