Aboriginal Ceremonies Central Australia - Ngajakula
Two men of the Japaljarri subsection dance with “kurdiji”, wooden shields painted with the owl dreaming design relevant to their clan and the song cycle that is being followed during a central Australian “Ngajakula” ceremony. Men of the opposite moiety encourage the dancers, singing and clapping boomerangs.
