Aboriginal Bushtucker in the Northern Territory

Bush banana

Bush bananas, or “yuparli” in the Warlpiri language, growing on a bush in Central Australia. Only the skin can be eaten; the inside is a mass of small seeds with plumes, that aid in the dispersal by wind.
