Panorama over the UNESCO Heritage listed town of Gjirokastra from the road to its 13th-century citadel. At left is the domed Bektashi Teqe (a ritual building for a Sufi dervish order). Behind it is the Pazar mosque (Xhamia e Pazarit). At far right is the Gjirokastër Obelisk, the Albanian literacy monument.
