World's largest carpet

The carpet in the Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan Mosque in Abu Dhabi. It is the world's largest, was made by Iran's Carpet Company and designed by Iranian artist Ali Khaliqi. It was made by around 1,200 weavers, measures 5,627 metres and has a weight of 47 tons: 35 tons of wool and 12 tons of cotton.
