Walburga State

Walburga State, a stately villa, built in 1857 for the family Collot d'Escury on the western edge of Sexbierum. From 1909 until 1984 it was the Town Hall of the former municipality of Barradeel. In 2008, the House was adapted for the establishment of a “Thomashuis”, a house where people with intellectual disabilities can live independently, with supervision.
