Pietersbierum

Bilingual signpost at the entrance to Pietersbierum (Pitersbierrum in the Frisian language), a small village of around 120 people in the municipality of Franekeradeel, 10 kilometres north of Harlingen. Until 1984 it was part of the former municipality of Barradeel.
