Basilica in Meerssen

Basiliek van het Heilig Sacrament (Basilica of the Holy Sacrament), also known as Sint-Bartholomeusbasiliek in the town of Meerssen, about 7 kilometres north east of Maastricht. The church was built in the Middle Ages and was elevated to a “basilica minor” by Pope Pius XI in 1938.
