Dutch gables

The Chinese restaurant “Hong Kong” was housed in a typical Dutch house and adjacent warehouse on the Havenplein (Harbour Square), providing an interesting mix of cultures. The central house unfortunately burned down in 2001, and a very modern structure, looking rather out of place between the two traditional gables, has since been built in its place.
