Victory lap

A couple in traditional Frisian farmer dress makes a victory lap in their “sjees”, a two-wheeled carriage, after winning the first prize in “ringrijden” or “ringsteken”, a competition where the woman, holding a wooden pointed stick tries to collect rings placed in wooden arms along the route while riding past at a steady trot.
