Netherlands Antilles, 1959

The coat of arms of the Netherlands Antilles consisted of a shield with six blue stars representing the islands on a golden background with a red border. A crown atop the shield represents the Dutch sovereign; at the bottom is a ribbon with the Latin motto: Libertate Unanimus (United in Freedom).
