Bibi-Khanym mosque

Restored minaret, cupola and pishtaq portal of the Bibi-Khanym mosque in Samarkand, built by Timur. It was one of the largest and most magnificent mosques in the Islamic world in the 15th century. Since the mid-20th century major parts of the mosque have been restored.
