Ritual vomiting

After the final rituals of the two-day “iNtfwasa” or graduation ceremony the initiate “tangoma” (diviners) cleanse themselves by drinking “umutsi”, traditional medicine, and vomit it out again. They are now ready to practice as fully qualified tangoma.
