An iNtfwasa graduation Ceremony in 1972 - Day 2
The new “sangoma” graduates undergo a “kufemba” ritual by the “bogobela”, the senior tangoma, in which evil spirit bodies, that may reside inside their bodies are “smelt out”. They use a “sizinga”, a special brush with which they brush the person and then smell it; they then “sneeze” the spirit body out.
