The iNcwala or First Fruits Ceremony in 1974-75

Men with

Swazi warriors dancing near Matsapha during the march of young men to fetch the “lusekwane” shrub. They carry cowhide shields and spears and wear “siketja”, a cloak of horse tails, the full iNcwala dress.
