The iNcwala or First Fruits Ceremony in 1970
Young boys on their return in the Royal residence of Lobamba, with branches of the “lusekwane”, a species of acacia that would be used later in the iNcwala ceremony. It had been a heavy task, as they had marched for hours the previous day, collected the branches at midnight and returned early morning.
