Throne, Tribhuvan Museum

Royal throne of King Gyanendra, Nepal’s eleventh and last King of Nepal, from 2001 until the abolition of the monarchy in 2008. As a child, he was also briefly king from 1950 to 1951, during the short exile of his grandfather, King Tribhuvan Bir Bikram Shah, the first democratic king of Nepal. It is at the Tribhuvan Museum.
