Boudhanath stupa, a sacred site in Tibetan Buddhism

Guru Lhakhang Monastery

The Tibetan Guru Lhakhang Monastery, also known as Tamang Gompa, off the north gate of the Boudhanath Stupa. It was named after Guru Rinpoche (Padmasambhava), an 8th-century Buddhist master from the Indian subcontinent, who played a significant role in establishing Buddhism in Tibet.
