Drying grain, Dattatraya Temple

Drying grain on the square in front of the Dattatraya Temple, a three-story pagoda, built during the reign of King Yaksha Malla (1428 – 1482) in Bhaktapur. The column in front of the temple displays a gilded metal statue of Garuda, the bird-like divinity.
