Monument to Suvorov, Tiraspol

The equestrian Monument to Alexander Suvorov in the park along 25th October Street. The city of Tiraspol was founded by the Russian generalissimo Alexander Suvorov in 1792. Considered a national hero, Suvorov is seen by many as one of the greatest generals in history and one of the few who never lost a battle, being undefeated in over 60 large battles while frequently having the numerical disadvantage.
