Outer walls, Nan Dowas

The more than nine metre high outer walls of Nan Dowas. The wall at the main entrance, facing the sea on the right, is 120 metres long. It is assumed this was a structure for defence of Nan Madol and only occupied in time of war. Also some Saudeleurs and Nahmwarkis (kings) are buried here.
