Ruined Serbian houses

Ruined Serbian houses in the former Serbian district of Podkaljaja, legacy of the worst ethnic violence since the end of the Kosovo War in 1999: on 17 March 2004 ethnic Albanian rioters attacked the Serbian settlement and set fire to the houses. In 2009 the area was sill cordoned off by razor wire.
