Bajrakli mosque protected

The 15th century Bajrakli mosque (also known as Çarshi Xhamia or Fatih Sultan Mehmet Hani's mosque). Like other mosques in the town and its surrounding villages, the Bajrakli mosque was torched by Serb forces during the 1999 war, burned out and badly damaged. It was restored by experts from the Italian Academy of Fine Arts and in 2009 had its front portal protected by glass.
