Statue of Mehë Uka

A statue of Mehë Uka (1962-1996) in the centre of Mitrovica; he was a teacher, political prisoner, patriot and decorated as a Hero of Kosovo. On December 29, 1996, in the village of Lushtë, Municipality of Mitrovica, he was ambushed and killed by the Serbian army.
