Kosovska Mitrovica, the Serbian sector

Russian-Serb Mural

A mural in Kosovska Mitrovica, the Serbian sector north of the Iban river, depicting intertwined Serbian and Russian flags: on the Serbian flag is an outlined map of Kosovo and on the Russian one an outlined map of the Crimea peninsula, annexed by Russia in 2014. Underneath, in Russian, the text “Kosovo is Serbia” and, in Serbian, “Crimea is Russia”.
