Around Kosovo
The Ura e Terzive (Terzi or Tailors Bridge), 190 metres long and built at the end of the 15th Century. It has 11 stone arches and was once the longest bridge in Kosovo. Built over the Erenik River to connect the towns of Gjakova and Prizren, it was remodelled in the 18th Century, funded by the tailors' guild from Gjakova; hence its name. Major reconstruction and restoration to its original appearance was done from 1982 to 1984.
